A gorgeous terracotta toned 100% wool rug from the Haouz region around Marrakech. In excellent original condition.

Vibrant naturally plant and vegetable dyed colour palette of orange, terracotta and red with design featuring large central diamond shapes full of Berber symbology. Finished with natural brown saw-tooth edges and raw goats wool end tassels.

Low-pile weave with long shape perfect for long dining table, open plan spaces or creative studios.

Haouz Rugs

Characterised by their rich earthy colour palettes ranging from terracotta, saffron and bright orange, through to soft magenta, lilac and rich red. Haouz rugs feature intricate handwoven designs that often include large central diamond shapes and traditional Berber symbology throughout.

This traditional Beldi style rug is often finished with saw tooth edges, flat woven striped blanket end panels and raw goats wool tassels.
